Dekaney High School graduate Alexis Durley contributed seven points, but Cincinnati lost 58-47 to Alabama Friday, Dec. 28, at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, the Cincinnati website reported.

The University of Cincinnati freshman guard also recorded four rebounds, two assists and one steal for the Bearcats, who are 7-4 on the season.

Durley, a Houston native, is a 2012 graduate of Spring Dekaney High School. She was selected as athlete of the week by the Houston Chronicle during her sophomore year. During her senior year, Durley scored 856 points, had 467 assists and 407 steals. The health education major is the daughter of Adrien and Sharon Durley.
