Unite Council earns Community of Respect award from ADL
The Klein Independent School District's Unite for Understanding Council has been awarded the Community of Respect designation by the Anti-Defamation League.
According to a press release from Klein Independent School District, "The Community of Respect award is in conjunction with the No Place for Hate initiative, and joins businesses, organizations and places of worship with campuses that actively promote respect and diversity in their communities. The ADL will present the Unite Council with the award at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 24, at its quarterly meeting held at Vistas High School Program at 12550 Bammel N. Houston Road, Houston."
