Hoopster aims for MVP, state run
A: My cousin Garrett (Temple) because he’s a hard worker, and he went to LSU, and he kept working at it to try and get in the league, and he got there.
Q: What are your goals for this season?
A: I want to make first-team all-district and maybe MVP for the district. As a team, I want to make the playoffs and hopefully go to state.
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals?
A: We warm up and then we listen to music. Coach talks to us, and then we say our prayers before the game and get pumped up.
Q: How has your coach made you a better player?
A: She pushes us, and she knows how good we are. She’ll keep pushing you until she knows that you’re better. She just tries to make you a better player overall.
