Bellaire grad Anyigbo scores 2 points in Western Kentucky loss
Kene Anyigbo, a graduate of Bellaire High School, is a junior forward for the Western Kentucky University men's basketball team.
Bellaire High School graduate Kene Anyigbo contributed two points in Western Kentucky's 75-67 loss to conference rival Arkansas-Little Rock on Thursday, Jan. 3 at the Jack Stephens Center in Little Rock, Ark., Western Kentucky's website reported.
The Western Kentucky University junior forward also recorded five rebounds for the Hilltoppers, who are 10-6 on the season.
Western Kentucky's next game is 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 on the road against Arkansas State.
Anyigbo played at Bellaire High School in 2006-2010. ESPN rated him theĀ 82nd-best power forward prospect in the nation. He was named to the All-Region Second-Team.
