Spring Woods grad Whitty plays in Schreiner loss

Spring Woods High School graduate John Whitty played for Schreiner in its 78-60 loss to conference rival Mississippi College Thursday, Jan. 3, at A.E. Wood Coliseum in Clinton, Miss., the Schreiner website reported.

The freshman guard and the Mountaineers are 5-7 on the season and 3-4 in the American Southwest Conference.

Whitty is a Houston native, and a 2012 graduate of Spring Woods High School.
