Klein Oak High grad Dominguez contributes to McMurry victory

Spring native Ana Dominguez played for McMurry University in a 57-54 win against conference rival St. Edward's University on Saturday, Jan. 5, the school's website reported.

The freshman forward helped the War Hawks improve to 5-8 on the season and 2-1 in the Heartland Conference.

McMurry's next game is at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at home against Oklahoma Christian University.

A 2012 graduate of Klein Oak High School in Spring, she was a four-year letter winner for the Panthers and a three-time all-district selection.

Dominguez, a member of the National Honors Society, also was selected academic all-district.

The business major is the daughter of Mike and Dawn Dominguez.
