Spring elementary schools awarded Bronze Awards in 2012 HealthierUS Challenge

A handful of schools in Spring were recently honored.

Anderson, Booker, Burchett, Hirsch, Lewis, Northgate Crossing, McNabb and Winship elementary schools has been awarded Bronze Awards in the 2012 HealthierUS Challenge.

According to a school release, "The campuses were selected based on the collaborative effort of principals, teachers and child-nutrition staff who teamed up to develop unique and creative ideas for promoting a healthier school environment and providing quality, nutritious meals at their campus."

Anderson, Booker, Burchett, Hirsch, Lewis, Northgate Crossing, McNabb and Winship elementary schools are located in Spring.
