Westfield grad Lewis plays in McNeese State loss
Westfield High School graduate Austin Lewis played for McNeese State in its 64-63 loss at home to conference rival Nicholls State Monday, Jan. 7, at Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles, La., the McNeese website reported.
Lewis recorded two rebounds and a block for the Cowboys, who fell to 6-7 on the season and 0-3 in the Southland Conference.
McNeese State's next game is 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at home against Texas A&M - Corpus Christi.
Lewis is a freshman forward for McNeese State University. He is a 2012 graduate of Westfield High School in Houston.
