Spring runners complete 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon - Full Marathon

A total of 10 athletes from Spring completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Full Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9 in Dallas.

The runners from Spring and their finishing times were Kenny Phan, 4:01:05; Jason House, 4:08:32; Yesenia Roman-Mason, 4:26:50; Robert Mason, 4:26:50; Walker House, 4:48:58; Jennifer Matthews, 4:53:22; Hector Lopez, 5:23:50; Greg Lummus, 5:35:46; Suzanne Young, 5:43:37; and Carly Smith, 6:41:15.

Race organizers said 4,874 runners finished the 26.2-mile race, which began and ended at Downtown Dallas.

Vladimir Safranov, of Russia, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 2:19:38, while Nastassia Padalinskaya, of Belarus, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 2:43:56.
