Spring runners complete 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon - Half Marathon

Twenty-seven Spring athletes completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon - Half Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9.

The runners from Spring and their finishing times were Brandy Zimmer, 1:50:25; Danny Brietzke, 2:02:54; Veronica Bello, 2:03:56; Barbara Gamiz, 2:03:58; Doug Hanson, 2:05:35; Stephany Barba, 2:08:18; Ricardo Moyano, 2:08:18; Krista Aschenbeck, 2:11:47; Andrea Salcedo, 2:15:45; Maria Vergara, 2:19:49; Juan Autrique, 2:19:49; Marina Godinez, 2:24:00; Gloria Ballin, 2:26:04; Ken Seifert, 2:30:33; Ana Zavala, 2:31:51; Llana Bingham, 2:45:57; Jose Nunez, 2:46:54; Char Townsend, 2:56:26; Josh Wilcox, 2:57:57; Adrien Lightfoot, 3:04:17; Tana Arrant, 3:06:29; Leah Gonzales, 3:23:08; April May, 3:23:14; Leigh Malone, 3:23:20; Lisa Pugh, 3:27:24; Sheryl Rowe, 3:31:09; and Linda King, 3:43:20.

According to organizers, 9,878 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which began and ended in downtown Dallas.

Andrew Letherby, of Austin, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:09:45, while Ashley Johnson, of Dallas, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:21:37.
