Cy Lakes grad Smith plays in Centenary loss

Cy Lakes High School graduate Brittany Smith played for Centenary in a 72-49 loss at home to Loyola Wednesday, Jan. 16, in New Orleans, the Centenary website reported.

Smith and the Bleu Devils are 3-14 on the season.

Centenary's next game is 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at home against Fisk University.

Smith is a 5-foot-7 sophomore guard for Dillard University. The Houston native is a 2011 graduate of Spring High School.
