Klein Oak grad Dominguez contributes to McMurry victory
Klein Oak High School graduate Ana Dominguez played for McMurry in its 59-56 win over conference rival Texas A & M International on Thursday, Jan. 17, at Tamiu KCB in Laredo, McMurry's website reported.
Dominguez helped the War Hawks improve to 6-9 on the season and 3-1 in the Heartland Conference.
McMurry's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at St. Mary's University.
Dominguez is a freshman forward for McMurry University. A 2012 graduate of Klein Oak High School in Spring, she was a four-year letter winner for the Panthers and a three-time all-district selection. She also was selected academic all-district and was a member of the National Honors Society. The Spring native, a business major, is the daughter of Mike and Dawn Dominguez.
