Spring Dekaney High School graduate Alexis Durley played for the University of Cincinnati in its 72-33 loss to conference rival Louisville Friday, Jan. 18, at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky., the Cincinnati website reported.

Durley compiled two rebounds, an assist and one steal for the Bearkats, who are 8-9 on the season and 0-4 in conference.

Cincinnati's next game is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22 at home against DePaul.

Durley is a freshman guard for University of Cincinnati. The Houston native, a 2012 graduate of Spring Dekaney High School, was selected as athlete of the week by the Houston Chronicle during her sophomore year. During her senior year, Durley scored 856 points, had 467 assists and 407 steals. The health education major is the daughter of Adrien and Sharon Durley.
