Cy Lakes grad Smith helps in Dillard victory

Cy Lakes High School graduate Brittany Smith played for Dillard in its 72-59 win at home over conference rival Fisk Saturday, Jan. 19 at New Orleans, Dillard's website reported.

Smith helped the Bleu Devils improve to 4-14 on the season and 2-3 in conference.

Dillard's next game is 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21 at home against Philander Smith College.

Smith is a 5-foot-7 sophomore guard for Dillard University. The Houston native is a 2011 graduate of Spring High School.
