Klein Forest grad Rogers plays in Northern Arizona loss
Klein Forest High School graduate Gabe Rogers contributed 23 points in Northern Arizona University's 76-68 loss to rival University of Northern Colorado on Feb. 14 at Butler-Hancock in Greeley, Colo., according to Northern Arizona's website.
The Northern Arizona University senior guard also recorded three rebounds and one assist for the Lumberjacks, who are 9-16 on the season and 6-9 in conference.
Northern Arizona's next game is 2:05 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 on the road against the University North Dakota.
Rogers, a 6-foot-2 senior guard for Northern Arizona University, is a 2008 graduate of Klein Forest High School. The Houston native was named to the all-region and all-district teams for coach Cary Black. He is the son of Kim and Gabe Rogers.
