AAUW meeting scheduled for March 21
The American Association of University Women will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21 at Greenwood Forest Clubhouse in Houston.
According to a press release from the association, "The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. after the social time. The speaker will be Betty McCutchan, who will speak about women in the foreign service. McCutchan is the former regional director of Office Service Employees of Foreign Missions for the U.S. Department of State."
Greenwood Forest Clubhouse is at 1960 Champion Forest Drive, Houston.
There are more than 40 branches of the American Association of University Women in the state. Membership is open to students and those with an associate's, bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited institution. The organization's goal is to promote advocacy, philanthropy, education and research among women and girls.
