Jenkins Elementary chess team places third at nationals

The Jenkings Elementary Chess Club placed third in the National Online Chess Tournament on Thursday, Jan. 31.

According to a press release from Cypress Christian School, "The Jenkins Elementary School Chess Club placed third in the National Online Chess Tournament held in the fall of 2012. Jenkins enters a team annually in the competition that allows students to compete against other schools nationwide."

Jenkins Elementary is part of the Cypress Christian School, 4615 Reynaldo Drive, Spring.
