Klein Collins grad Hamilton scores 2 points in Texas Christian loss
Klein Collins High School graduate Veja Hamilton scored two points in Texas Christian University's 59-46 loss to conference rival the University of Texas-Austin on Feb. 26, according to Texas Christian's website.
The freshman forward and guard also recorded two rebounds and three steals for the Horned Frogs who are 8-19 on the season and 1-15 in the Big 12 Conference.
Texas Christian's next game is 4 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at home against Iowa State University.
Hamilton is a 2012 graduate of Klein Collins High School where she was a McDonald's All-American nominee. Hamilton was ranked the No. 18 overall rated wing in the country, according to ESPN HoopGurlz. A four-star rated combo guard, she was named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches all-state list in March, scoring 2,228 points. Hamilton is from Spring.
